I have always loved making things and finding things. Born in Kentucky, I earned my B.F.A. from the Fashion Institute of Technology in N.Y.C. and then made my way to Houston in 2005. I lived in the Heights for many years and now reside in Oak Forest with my animal children, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Working full-time as a project manager, I found myself doing lots of art projects in my free time and browsing thrift stores. From that, Therein was born. My focus has been on photographic images taken around Houston. From that I make cards and frame the prints out in vintage frames (some frame I refinish). In the past, I created textile prints inspired from my photography that I made in pillows, coasters, hair pins and brooches. In 2017, I re-branded my company to Collect Therein. My current focus is on simple nature inspired photographic prints from things found around Houston and women’s vintage items that I also sell in my Etsy shop.
