Dan Grissom is an illustrator and print-maker based in Austin but originally from rural Louisiana. Those rural roots fostered a love of nature and animals that continues to inform much of his work, along with his love of storytelling and narrative. His prints are often colorful and are marked by minimal composition and sometimes very intricate line work. It is all lovingly screen printed by hand in his hot Texas garage.
