Fuzzy Grapefruit
Behind the cheerful face of fuzzy grapefruit is artist and designer, Allison Johnston. Allison creates whimsical artwork in the form of original gouache and ink illustrations, archival art prints, block-printed notecards, one-of-a-kind up-cycled book-board jewelry, and other unique paper goods. Her work is thematically driven by the things that bring her joy: sweet woodland creatures, talking anthropomorphic food, animals in clothes, puns and witty sayings, geometric patterns, and the simple beauty of nature. She currently works as a freelance graphic designer and artist, and resides in Montrose with her two furry cat-children.
