SAPANA means "dream". After travelling extensively I realized that dreams/goals are one thing that we all have in common - despite cultural, religious, ethnic, and political differences.
I like the idea of a commonality to foster an understanding and acceptance of different beliefs. Having someone on your side while working toward your dream makes a tremendous difference. And that's what Sapana does. We work with artisans who have a love for their culture and great talent. We support them by purchasing their goods at above fair wages, telling their story as well sell their product, and then placing another order. Empowering through employment.
