We’re so excited to welcome new Heartmade artist Lisa Morales to our Heartmade Harvest show this year on November 3rd! She has chosen to take us on a tour of her studio to see how her beautiful collages come to life — and you will be able to buy your own Lisa Morales piece when you visit her at the show!
I am very fortunate to have my studio in my home. My 8-foot work table was custom built just for my height. It has an open space on one side where I store my unwrapped canvas prints and the other side has shelving for my bins of paper that I use to create my collage artwork. I paint and texture all my own papers and then separate them by color family. I love being able to pull them out and dig through my stash. My “Studio Assistant” loves to lay around in the papers as well.
